Advanced and Affordable Bat Detection

Meet the Apodemus Pipistrelle Mini – a compact, budget-friendly bat detector designed for curious minds of all ages. This lightweight, handheld device responds to nearby bats by lighting up and producing audible signals, making it a fun and intuitive way to explore the world of bat activity.

Whether you're heading out on a guided bat walk, introducing children to nocturnal wildlife, or just beginning your journey into bat detection, the Pipistrelle Mini is a fantastic place to start.

You can plug in standard 3.5mm headphones to hear real-time bat sounds, no setup or recording required. Want to go deeper? Connect the detector to your smartphone using a Micro B USB cable and unlock extra features through free apps. You'll be able to listen to, visualise, and record full-spectrum bat calls, all saved directly to your phone or tablet for later listening. Read more in our Key Specs and Features below.
